Ben Sanders

Within the Toronto basketball community, Ben Sanders gained his experience first as a university player leading Humber College to a college championship title. College coaching followed with a position as the Lead Assistant for the Centennial Colts Men’s Basketball Team. With over a decade of coaching at George Brown, Humber and Seneca Colleges, Ben has worked alongside coaching teams to deliver comprehensive season and training plans to varsity level coaches and teams.

Within youth sports he founded the Coalition League to support rep grassroots and elite level basketball high performance development with young players. Ben supports working together with coaching and training teams by providing appropriate levels of competitive experiences to emphasize individual player growth and development.

Ben has led AAU training with Canada Elite and the Toronto Blues Elite AAU programs to provide opportunities to play in such prestigious events as UA Futures League created by Under Armour for middle schools across North America. He has also served as the Coordinator of the Summer CYBL and Scarborough Basketball Association Summer Camps to support players in continuing to work on and towards their individual player development goals.
