The X League is a premier basketball league designed for elite level athletes. Focused on pushing the boundaries of skill, athleticism, and mental toughness, the league provides a high performance platform for both players and fans. The next generation of basketball stars will emerge, where the game is played with pure passion, determination and intensity.

With an aim to raise the level of the game, the league will be played in high quality facilities and will bring in teams with experienced coaching and players committed to pushing the limits of their basketball game. Talent Pool

Built for game intensity, the teams selected for the league are among those with players chosen to compete and perform at higher levels. The league will work to attract and retain talented coaches, players and teams to achieve performance at an elite X level.

Game Ambassadors

We will inspire athletes to strive to the top of their game and to be more than just skilled basketball players; we want them to grow into role models, leaders, and ambassadors for the game of basketball.

High Performance Competition

The competition in the X League will be intense. Each season, teams will compete for supremacy in a highly competitive structure, ensuring only the most dominant players and teams rise to the top. Every game will be a high-stakes, fast-paced battle, where every moment, every minute and every play matters.

Session Format

With a five session weekend format, the league will include ten regular season games and 2 guaranteed playoff games over the Championship weekend. Games will have four 10 minute quarters with shot clocks and all games will emphasize speed, skill, and strategy.

Player Stats & Awards

With analytics to monitor performance, statistics will be provided to enhance player development, and track progress. Every aspect of the player’s journey in The X League is optimized for success.Player highlights and spotlights will be featured on social media within every weekend of game play. Athletes in The X League will play to achieve their highest potential with selections for Most Valuable Player, Defensive Player of the Year, Player of the Game and All-Star selections.

New Facility

Players and teams will compete in the St.Jude’s TSS Centre. With three new courts in a new and expansive dome, with lots of room for family, friends and fans, all games will be played at this convenient location.

Exposure

Digital content will include video production and promotion of all games on YouTube. The X League will connect players with their basketball fans by sharing game play and team highlights across all digital and social media channels.

Developmental Pathways

The X League is committed to player development and will work to support opportunities to grow and elevate their game. Within the X League community, players and teams will connect with people to lead them into mentorship programs, resources and connections to raise their game to the next level.
